Hake Meatballs in Green Sauce
Ingredients
- 600 gr. hake loins
- 1 egg
- 40 ml. milk
- 80 gr. breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Parsley
- Salt
- 60 gr. breadcrumbs
- Wheat flour
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/2 large onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 60 ml. white wine
- 400 ml. fish stock
Instructions
- Crumble the hake and mix in a bowl with 1 egg, milk, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, chopped parsley and salt. Once everything is mixed, add the breadcrumbs to give the dough body.
- Form the meatballs, dredge in flour and fry in plenty of extra virgin olive oil. Set aside
- For the sauce, chop the onion and the clove of garlic, fry in a frying pan for 5-10 minutes.
- Add the white wine and allow the alcohol to evaporate.
- Add the broth and leave it for another 5 minutes.
- Then add the meatballs and the chopped parsley and leave for 10 minutes for the broth to be consumed.
